Pulled a syringe marked ‘prop’ with no concentration at 06:58 in OR 2 — policy is policy, even before coffee. I logged the variance and handed back a fresh label; what’s the most audacious abbreviation you’ve seen that someone thought would survive a quality audit?

I keep pre-printed ‘propofol [redacted]/mL’ stickers; slap-or-scrap at 0658. Worst abbreviation you’ve seen beat audit?
At 06:58 I’d still scrap ‘prop’ and relabel — policy saves you later, @willC78 . We added a ‘no cap until conc’ rule and clipped a tiny roll of time-stamped blanks to each cart; zero excuses pre-coffee. Worst audit-beater I’ve seen: ‘Neo 100’ in green Sharpie, right next to an ‘epi 1:1k’ hero.
We configured Pyxis to print a barcode label when propofol is removed; scan and it auto-fills mg/mL, time, and initials — no mystery syringes while the brain’s still loading… If IT won’t build it, a tiny Dymo plus writing the time covers the gap, @willC78 .
