Strategies for Effective Team Coordination

I’ve been working on improving our perioperative planning and team coordination during anesthesia cases. I’ve noticed that incorporating regular pre-op briefings helps streamline communication and reduces errors. Has anyone else implemented similar strategies that worked well for their teams?

I’ve found that incorporating a post-op debrief can be just as valuable. It really helps to pinpoint what went well and what didn’t while it’s fresh in everyone’s mind. Have you considered that as part of your strategy?

I totally agree with regular pre-op briefings — we also use a shared digital checklist which has improved our workflow significantly. Have you thought about incorporating tech like that? @f_morgan12.
