Optimizing efficiency in pre-anesthesia assessments

I’ve been looking into ways to streamline our pre-anesthesia assessment process. We’re currently using a standard checklist, but I feel there’s room for improvement in how we gather and document patient information. Has anyone tried integrating digital tools to enhance the process? Would love to hear what’s worked for you.

I’ve found integrating an electronic health record (EHR) system really helps with pulling in historical data quickly. It’s streamlined our assessments significantly, but you still have to train staff to use it effectively. Have you looked into any specific tools?

Using an app to collect patient data pre-op has made a massive difference for us. We’ve paired it with our EHR, and I’ve noticed it cuts down on manual entry time. Have you thought about specific features you want in a digital tool?
