Lessons from recent anesthesia emergencies

In the last few weeks, we’ve had a couple of cases where timely administration of emergency anesthesia made all the difference. It really reminded me of how critical our role is in response situations. I’m curious to hear about some strategies others have used that have improved their response times in high-pressure scenarios.

In my experience, having a pre-stocked emergency cart has been a game-changer during high-pressure situations. Just last month, we saved precious minutes by not having to hunt for supplies during a critical case. It’s all about being ready — just wish we could streamline the inventory process a bit more.
