I landed mine by emailing the chief CRNA at my main clinical site about 6 weeks before boards, attaching my case log and two preceptor references, and asking for a one-day shadow — turned into a conditional offer for my “first position.” Not every system allows shadows, so if HR is rigid hit the portal first and then follow up with the chief; did you reach out before or after graduation?
